"those games which provided more detailed information (i.e., prompt) on the EEG yielded better results on the one hand, and longer...Better feedback may mean that people can reach higher goals, and don't plateau as early in training." Post from Siegfried on Biofeedback list.
I couldn't agree more, I was hesitant at first to try the new Chomper game because of all bells and whistles. I introduced it to a set of hyperactive twins I am working with after doing 10 session with space race and they are more engaged and sustain their focus longer with Chomper and those results are carrying over to their school and home. Most remarkably, their 2-7 Hz normally at 30mV has shifted dramatically to under 20mV. The largest variable I find is the feedback of the music stopping when the inhibits goals are exceeded.
Thanks guys for the great new game! Lisa T San Diego

I think the different games have different strengths as well as appealing to different personalities. Space race gives more powerful feedback on the reward band with its variable rocket noise an speed. Chomper is stronger on the inhibit because of the music stopping. They both appeal more to the video game crowd who like lots of stimulation.
